Ellie Brenner (Exercise and Sport Science) has received GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team

For women’s fencing, Ellie Brenner (San Diego, CA/Westview), a senior studying Exercise and Sport Science, received GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team recognition for having a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5. Brenner was an All-Academic Excellence recipient for the second consecutive year.

To earn conference All Academic recognition, student-athletics must be an active member of their respective teams at the end of the season and cannot be a freshman or first-year transfer student. All-Academic Teams are comprised of those student-athletes that meet criteria and carry a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0-3.49. Academic Excellence Teams are comprised of student athletes that have a cumulative GPA of 3.50-4.0. Grades are based on marks from the previous semester.
