Responsibilities

Kristen M. Kaszeta is an Associate Professor of Teaching in the Division of Kinesiology, Health, and Sports Studies at the College of Education. She has developed and taught numerous health, wellness, and exercise courses, both online and in-person.


Kristen serves as the Program Coordinator of Health and Physical Education and is responsible for contributing to Certified Adapted Physical Education (CAPE) teaching credentials; she also coordinates the Lifestyle Fitness Activities (LFA) program, which comprises 34 different 1-3-credit health, wellness, and exercise classes offered to students from across the university. This LFA program provides students from across the university with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to participate in a broad range of physical activities for a lifetime. Lastly, Kristen oversees the Yoga and Mindfulness minor. The minor allows undergraduate students in any department across all WSU schools and colleges to add yoga and mindfulness skills and knowledge as a credential to their degree programs.
