"Shifting Urban Narratives" featured in Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation video
“Shifting Urban Narratives” — an initiative of the college’s Division of Teacher Education — helps young people in Detroit tell their stories about change, resilience, joy, and community development. Led by faculty members Roland Sintos Coloma, Aja Reynolds, and Christopher Crowley, it is one of two projects featured in a new video from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation as part of its efforts to change the narrative about poverty in the U.S.
