Anna Ruhstorfer (Health and Physical Education Teaching) and Kate Sherwood (Kinesiology), have been named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team for women’s basketball

For women’s basketball seniors, Anna Ruhstorfer (Grand Blanc, Michigan) studying Health and Physical Education Teaching and Kate Sherwood (Canton, Michigan/Belleville) studying Kinesiology, received All-Academic Excellence Team for maintaining a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.5.

To earn conference All Academic recognition, student-athletics must be an active member of their respective teams at the end of the season and cannot be a freshman or first-year transfer student. All-Academic Teams are comprised of those student-athletes that meet criteria and carry a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0-3.49. Academic Excellence Teams are comprised of student athletes that have a cumulative GPA of 3.50-4.0. Grades are based on marks from the previous semester.
