Brennan Cox, Robert Iacobelli, Jack Schmidt and Chris Tanderys of the College of Education have been named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team for men's baseball

The College of Education congratulates Robert Iacobelli, Jack Schmidt, Brennan Cox and Chris Tanderys for being named to the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) for men's baseball. Iacobelli a senior, Schmidt and Cox are juniors and Tanderys a sophomore are all majoring in Kinesiology.

Robert Iacobelli (Rochester Hills, MI), Jack Schmidt (Fishers, IN) and Brennan Cox (Taylor, MI) are being named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team for maintaining a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 or higher.

Chris Tanderys (Livonia, MI) is being named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team for maintaining a cumulative GPA between 3.0 and 3.49. This is his second academic award.

To earn conference All Academic recognition, student-athletics must be an active member of their respective teams at the end of the season and cannot be a freshman or first-year transfer student. All-Academic Teams are comprised of those student-athletes that meet criteria and carry a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0-3.49. Academic Excellence Teams are comprised of student athletes that have a cumulative GPA of 3.50-4.0. Grades are based on marks from the previous semester.
