College of Education Sports Administration student and Detroit Lion Joique Bell says he can do more

Joique Bell says he'll be over the playoff loss at Dallas as soon as the Lions win their next game. The Detroit Lions running back appeared at an event to award the Allen Park school district with a $10,000 Hometown Grant on behalf of the Lions and the United Dairy Industry of Michigan to support healthy nutrition and physical activity programs in district schools.

Bell, who signed a three-year $9.3 million deal with the Lions a year ago, is a good role model for the students. He is working on a Master's degree in sports administration at Wayne State. Bell said he just finished the first year and he should complete the degree in another year.

He finds the time to take classes even during the season.

"It's similar to college as far as when you're in college you have study table, you have classes, you have football practice,'" Bell said. "I have to schedule my classes as such. My teachers understand what I have to do."

Bell played football at Wayne State and worked hard to make it to the NFL despite being undrafted.
