On Tuesday, May 17, 2022, Aqua-Raven Murray, Ed.D. candidate in the Reading, Language, and Literature program successfully defended her dissertation “Literacy Teacher Beliefs and Practices About Culturally Relevant Pedagogy as Seen Through the Lens of Critical Race Theory.” Dr. Murray’s committee members are Dr. Poonam Arya, major advisor; Dr. Christopher Crowley; and Dr. Aja Reynolds.
