Elementary education major and diver Holly Krill receives Dean's Award

Holly KrillEarly childhood/elementary education major Holly Krill received a Dean's Award in acknowledgement of her commitment to academic excellence during the university's 17th Annual Academic Recognition Luncheon. Interim Assistant Dean of the Division of Administrative and Organizational Studies William Hill presented the award to Krill.

A senior diver on the women's swimming and diving team, Krill has been named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll (term GPA 3.5+) all seven semesters. She earned a 4.0 GPA for the Fall 2016 semester. Krill is a three-time Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference All-Academic Excellence Team honoree and received College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America Scholar All-America accolades for three consecutive years. To be selected to the CSCAA Scholar All-America Team, swimmers and divers must have achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and have participated in their respective NCAA/NAIA/NJCAA Swimming and Diving Championships. A graduate of Portage Central in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Krill scored points at the conference championship all four years on both boards.
