and Sport Science), and Chris Tanderys (Health and Physical Education Teaching) have been named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team for men’s baseball
For men’s baseball seniors, Jack Schmidt (Fishers, Ind.) and Brennan Cox (Taylor, MI) both studying Exercise and Sport Science received All-Academic Excellence Team for maintaining a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.5. For both Schmidt and Cox this is their second consecutive year, after receiving All-Academic Team accolades in 2019.
Collecting All-Academic Team accolades for having a cumulative GPA between 3.0 and 3.49 were senior Dustin Renfroe (West Bloomfield, MI) and junior Chris Tanderys (Livonia, MI).

To earn conference All Academic recognition, student-athletics must be an active member of their respective teams at the end of the season and cannot be a freshman or first-year transfer student. All-Academic Teams are comprised of those student-athletes that meet criteria and carry a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0-3.49. Academic Excellence Teams are comprised of student athletes that have a cumulative GPA of 3.50-4.0. Grades are based on marks from the previous semester.
