Kate Rollert French receives second place distinction from AERA

Kate Rollert French, postdoctoral fellow of administrative and organizational studies in the Wayne State University College of Education, receives second place distinction for the 2018 Janice Hooper Holt Outstanding Dissertation Award, sponsored by the American Educational Research Association's Special Interest Group: Research on Teacher Induction. Kate's dissertation, First-Year Experiences of Novice Urban Educators: A Case Study of Belief Change, was recognized for its conceptual, methodological, and literary quality surrounding the important topic of teacher induction. She will receive the award at the 2018 AERA Research on Teacher Induction Business meeting to be held on Saturday, April 4, 2018 in New York.
