Kristen Lucas, Jamie MacNeil, Hannah McClounie and Emma Adams of the College of Education have been named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team for softball

The College of Education congratulates senior Kristen Lucas, junior Jamie MacNeil, junior Hannah McClounie and Freshman Emma Adams for being named to the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) for softball. Kristen, Jamie, Hannah and Emma are pursuing their bachelors in Kinesiology in the College of Education division of Kinesiology, Health and Sport Studies.

Kristen, Jamie, Hannah and Emma received All-Academic Excellence Team honors for maintaining a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.5. For Kristen Lucas of Newmarket, Ontario this is her third straight season. Jamie MacNeil of Brampton, Ontario and Hannah McClounie of Essex, Ontario for their second consecutive year. Emma Adams of Rockwood, Ontario was recognized for the first time this spring.

To earn conference All Academic recognition, student-athletics must be an active member of their respective teams at the end of the season. All-Academic Teams are comprised of those student-athletes that meet criteria and carry a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0-3.49. Academic Excellence Teams are comprised of student athletes that have a cumulative GPA of 3.50-4.0.
