Congratulations to Professor S.Asli Ozgun-Koca for being selected to take on important state and national leadership positions in mathematics education. This March, she will begin her two-year term as president of the Michigan Association of Mathematics Teacher Educators, the statewide professional organization for promoting all aspects of quality mathematics teacher education in Michigan. Next month, she will become one of the department editors for Growing Problem Solvers in the Mathematics Teacher: Learning and Teaching PreK-12, a new practitioner journal of the NCTM - National Council of Teachers of Mathematics.
