Today Sabrina Ficano successfully defended her dissertation, "The Roll of Collaboration and Performance-Based Assessment in Engaging Learners to Promote Real World Proficiency in Foreign Languages for an Increasingly Multilingual World" to earn her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the College of Education with her advisor Dr. Justine Kane and her family by her side.
