Skylar Pitcher (Kinesiology) has received GLIAC All-Academic honors

For men’s fencing, Skylar Pitcher (Middleville, Michigan), a sophomore studying Kinesiology, received All-Academic Team recognition for having a cumulative GPA between 3.0 and 3.49. This is Pitcher’s first season to be eligible.

To earn conference All Academic recognition, student-athletics must be an active member of their respective teams at the end of the season and cannot be a freshman or first-year transfer student. All-Academic Teams are comprised of those student-athletes that meet criteria and carry a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0-3.49. Academic Excellence Teams are comprised of student athletes that have a cumulative GPA of 3.50-4.0. Grades are based on marks from the previous semester.
