Sydney Balk and Allison Lennig of the College of Education have been named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team for women's swimming and diving

The College of Education congratulates Sydney Balk and Allison Lennig for being named to the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) for women's swimming and diving. Balk a sophomore and Lennig a junior are pursing degrees in Kinesiology.

Sydney Balk (Farmington, MI) and Allison Lennig (Canton, MI) are being named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team for maintaining a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50 or higher.

To earn conference All Academic recognition, student-athletics must be an active member of their respective teams at the end of the season and cannot be a freshman or first-year transfer student. All-Academic Teams are comprised of those student-athletes that meet criteria and carry a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0-3.49. Academic Excellence Teams are comprised of student athletes that have a cumulative GPA of 3.50-4.0. Grades are based on marks from the previous semester.
