We invite all Michigan schools, grades K-12, to apply for the 2016-2017 Building Healthy Communities.

Building Healthy Communities is a school-wide initiative that works with schools and their communities to teach kids healthy habits and prevent childhood obesity. The program has reached more than 180,000 students in more than 390 Michigan schools since its inception in 2009.

Elementary School Program: a comprehensive model designed for elementary schools where multiple healthy eating and physical activity opportunities and education are embedded throughout the school environment.
