Yasmine Affes, Teanna McCuaig, Aliyah McDonald, Chloe Wandell, Emma Willett and Gabbi Willett of the College of Education have been named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team for women's indoor track and field

The College of Education congratulates Yasmine Affes, Teanna McCuaig, Aliyah McDonald, Chloe Wandell, Emma Willett and Gabbi Willett for being named to the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) for women's indoor track and field. Emma Willett and Gabbi Willett are pursuing degrees in Secondary Education. Yasmine Affes, Teanna McCuaig, Aliyah McDonald and Chloe Wandell are pursing degrees in Kinesiology.

Yasmine Affes (Northville, MI), Aliyah McDonald (Kingston, Jamaica), Chloe Wandell (Muir, MI), Emma Willett (Holgate, OH) and Gabbi Willett (Holgate, OH) are being named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team for maintaining a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50 or higher.

Teanna McCuaig (Sparts, MI) is being named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team for maintaining a cumulative GPA between 3.0 and 3.49.

To earn conference All Academic recognition, student-athletics must be an active member of their respective teams at the end of the season and cannot be a freshman or first-year transfer student. All-Academic Teams are comprised of those student-athletes that meet criteria and carry a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0-3.49. Academic Excellence Teams are comprised of student athletes that have a cumulative GPA of 3.50-4.0. Grades are based on marks from the previous semester.
