Mental Health and Wellness Clinic (MHaWC)

The Mental Health and Wellness Clinic (MHaWC) is a graduate student training clinic in the College of Education at Wayne State University. The overarching mission to empower diverse individuals, families, and groups to accomplish mental health, wellness, education, and career goals. Specifically, we aim to provide services designed to improve the mental health and well-being of the students, families, and the community throughout the state of Michigan. We accomplish this through several types of services, broadly counseling/psychotherapy-based and art-based.

Announcement

The clinic will not be taking on any new clients after November 10, 2023, due to the winter break at Wayne State University. All new submissions will be seen starting after January 8, 2024.

Please be advised the clinic will be closed from December 11, 2023, through January 8, 2024 for the winter break.
