Curriculum and Instruction
The Teacher Education Division offers an education specialist program in Curriculum and Instruction with concentrations as listed below that include elementary, secondary, and K-12 levels. These concentrations are designed to strengthen the educational background of teachers, administrators, and other education professionals. Admission to this program is contingent upon admission to the College of Education and the Graduate School.
Educational Leadership and Policy Studies for Administration and Supervision
These Ed.S. certificate programs serve personnel who wish to pursue administrative positions in education, as well as practicing administrators who want to enhance their skills. The certificate can be a preliminary step toward a doctoral degree, and will allow for application to the Michigan School Administrator Certificate at the building level for elementary and secondary administrator K-12, or approval for supervisor and director of special education, depending on the plan selected.
