Junior Science and Humanities Symposium
Sponsored by the Tri-Services - U.S. Army, U.S. Navy and Marine Corps, and U.S. Air Force and Space Force, the Junior Science and Humanities Symposium (JSHS) promotes research and experimentation at the secondary school level and recognizes students for original research achievements. In southeastern Michigan, the program is housed in the College of Education at Wayne State University, where high school students attend the annual symposium to present their research and participate in a number of other activities. Participants have an opportunity to receive substantial scholarship awards at the regional and national levels.
