Applied Behavior Analysis
The applied behavior analysis program provides you with the skills and knowledge to help transform the lives of individuals living with autism. The program is a cohort model that includes a combination of supported and independent learning through classroom based and practiced-based hands-on learning. Cohort-mates work collaboratively throughout their training.
Art Therapy
Our Art Therapy program prepares professional art therapists and counselors who are knowledgeable in art therapy and counseling theories and techniques, who can translate these theories into effective practice, and who have the commitment, competence, respect for diversity among all people and who ascribe to the highest ethical standards and practices.
Counseling
Our Counseling program is proud to be one of the oldest counseling programs in Michigan. You’ll develop knowledge, values and skills to help individuals to make positive changes in their lives. Our master's program is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Program (CACREP).
Counseling Psychology
Are you passionate about helping others? Our program emphasizes training in personal and interpersonal practice with individuals, children, couples and families. The program prepares you to work with children and families as well as to improve personal and interpersonal functioning for individuals across the lifespan.
Educational Psychology
Our program provides students with the knowledge regarding the application of psychology to education, which can be used in a variety of settings such as schools and businesses. You’ll acquire a foundation of psychological knowledge regarding human development, learning processes, and testing procedures.
School and Community Psychology
Our program provides students with the knowledge and tools to make a difference in the lives of children and young adults. You’ll gain the skill set of counseling techniques and psychology theory, an understanding of ethical and social issues, and career and life-goal guidance methods. Upon completion of the program you’ll have the skills to perform in school and community environments.
